Chartered Accountants Program

The Chartered Accountants Program and the new Capstone module has been created by NZICA and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) and will be completed by aspiring Chartered Accountants on both sides of the Tasman. Following a three year academic requirement, provisional members study to compelte the Chartered Accountants Program which comprises four Technical modules and a final Capstone module.

Technical module registration and enrolment

You can register for the Program at any time during the year but you'll need to allow up to four weeks for your registration to be processed. Please check the timetable and fees section of this site to ensure that your registration is processed in time for you to enrol in your first module.

Register for the program now

If you are a Provisional Chartered Accountant or an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with confirmed eligibility, your next step will be to enrol in the next available module of your choice. Enrolment for Term 1, 2015 opens on 8 December 2014.

Enrolment for Term 3, 2014 has now closed. Enrolment for Term 1, 2015 opens on 8 December 2014.

Module Enrolment is open from 8 December 2014

Enrolment for Financial Accoounting & Reporting (FIN115) and Management Accounting & Applied Finance (MAAF115) are available from 8 December and closes at midnight (NZST) on Monday, 5 January 2015. Enrolment for Chartered Accountants Program modules is now easier than ever through myLearning.

How to Enrol

- Login to www.nzica.com and go to myLearning
- In myLearning, click on the Chartered Accountants Program button on the left-hand navigation panel, taking you to the Program landing page. There you'll see a list of Program modules. Click on the enrol button for the module you plan to undertake (one module only).
- If your mentor or employment details have changed, complete and upload the employment details form with your enrolment
- You'll be asked your preferred final exam location
- Complete enrolment by paying by credit card or selecting the bulk enrolment option if your employer uses bulk enrolment. A tax invoice can be printed at any time should you require this for your employer.

Where enrolment confirmation would sometimes take up to two weeks, you will now receive confirmation within minutes of completing your online enrolment.

Capstone module enrolment

Enrolment for the next offering of Capstone (CAP115) opens on 12 January 2015.

Capstone focuses on key professional skill areas that take candidates to the next level of their careers. Candidates take part in face-to-face workshops that present networking opportunities. Candidates work, and are assessed individually and in small teams developing their workplace independence whilst building strategic leadershipand communication skills.
